The Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Odeceixe is a white village church dating from the 14th-15th centuries, later enlarged in the 16th century. The church of Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Odeceixe was built between the beginning of the 14th century and the end of the 15th century.

It is believed that the extensions of the church between the 16th and early 17th centuries determined the dimensions of today's building.

The magnificent crown of Our Lady of Mercy, patron of Odeceixe, was commissioned in 1564/1565 to be engraved in silver and a material of the same material from the end of the 17th century among other crowns, goblets and patens.
