The historic windmill Moinho de Odeceixe towers over the roofs of Odeceixe and enjoys a magnificent view. It is the landmark of the town, as it can be seen from far away.
It is still in operation, has been lovingly restored and can be visited. When its wings turn, the clay vessels attached to the end of the wings ring out and sing a song to the wind.
