Founded in 1907, the Fichtelgebirgsmuseum has been housed in nine buildings around the medieval Spitalhof in the center of the town of Wunsiedel since 1964. It is continually being expanded and updated. The entire complex covers 3100 square meters of exhibition space and is a true treasure trove of the fabulous region "Fichtelgebirge".
