The shoe collection at the Weißenfels Museum is one of the most important in Europe and offers a profound insight into the historical and economic development of the shoe industry, particularly in Saxony-Anhalt. It encompasses models from five centuries, including rare pieces from the period between 1560 and 1950, as well as examples of GDR production. With its exhibition "everlasting – timeless footwear," Weißenfels is attracting the attention of design enthusiasts, fashion historians, and art lovers from around the world. weissenfels-erlebnis.de/Entdecken-/Museum-Wei%C3%9Fenfels-im-Schloss-Neu-Augustusburg
