"On the Dinger mountain in the old hall Dorlöchte built by Earl Carl v. Bodelschwingh-Plettenberg 1869 - 1872. Representative, multi-wing residential building in neo-classicist style on high basement level, with corner towers and terrace porches in echoes of the medieval castle architecture and as a villa located in a spacious landscaped garden, a monument to the Wilhelminian era as a residence of the landed nobility, which had become a large fort due to the hard coal mining industry.

House Dorloh is a very representative villa in the middle of a large garden. Unfortunately, the private property is not open to the public and it is therefore very difficult to photograph the walls, which are worth seeing, without violating the desired privacy of the owners.
