The main pharmacy, founded in 1703, was called “Zum Goldenen Haupt”. After the great fire in 1779, which almost completely destroyed the area of houses between Domplatz and Schwarzadlergasse, the house received a new front. The baroque Offizin (pharmacy) can still be seen inside.
