    Hiking

Great Treasure Island & Caribbean theme around the Casino & Hotel which opened in 1993 & has 36 floors with a total of 2885 rooms. Until 2013, the popular Sirens of Ti show was shown in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, this was discontinued, but meanwhile the Cirque du Soleil is a popular permanent guest.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Are there specific walking or jogging paths recommended around Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

While traditional hiking trails are not directly at the resort, the area around Treasure Island offers excellent opportunities for urban strolls and jogging. You can enjoy walking along the Las Vegas Strip, which provides pedestrian bridges for easy access to nearby resorts like The Venetian, The Palazzo, and the Fashion Show Mall. These paths are generally flat and well-maintained, perfect for a leisurely walk or a morning jog.

How long are typical walking paths near Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

The length of your walk depends entirely on your destination. A stroll from Treasure Island to The Venetian and back, including some exploration within those resorts, could easily be 1-2 miles. If you extend your walk further down the Strip towards Bellagio or Caesars Palace, you could cover several miles. The beauty of the Strip is that you can tailor your walk to be as long or as short as you like, with plenty of sights along the way.

Is the area around Treasure Island Hotel and Casino generally flat for walking?

Yes, the area immediately surrounding Treasure Island Hotel and Casino and the Las Vegas Strip is predominantly flat. This makes it very accessible for walking, jogging, and exploring on foot without significant elevation changes. Pedestrian bridges over busy intersections are equipped with ramps or escalators for convenience.

What are the parking options for visitors at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

Treasure Island offers free parking for guests and visitors, including a self-parking garage. Additionally, complimentary valet services are available, which is a significant convenience on the busy Las Vegas Strip. These options make it easy for those driving to access the resort and its surrounding attractions.

Is Treasure Island Hotel and Casino suitable for families with children?

While Treasure Island has scaled back its overt family-oriented pirate theme from its early days, it still offers attractions that can appeal to families. The long-running Cirque du Soleil show, Mystère, is a world-class performance suitable for older children and adults. The Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibit is also a popular family attraction. However, much of the resort's focus is on casino gaming and nightlife, so parental discretion is advised.

Are there any dog-friendly options or parks near Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

Treasure Island Hotel and Casino itself is generally not dog-friendly beyond service animals inside the main facilities. However, Las Vegas does have some dog parks and pet-friendly areas. For specific outdoor activities with pets, it's best to research local parks a short drive away, as the immediate Strip area is not designed for pets.

What are the best times to visit Treasure Island Hotel and Casino to avoid crowds?

To avoid the largest crowds, consider visiting during weekdays, particularly Monday through Thursday. Weekends and major holidays tend to be significantly busier. Mornings are generally less crowded than afternoons and evenings, especially in the casino and common areas. While the resort is a year-round destination, the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) might offer a slightly less congested experience compared to peak summer or holiday periods.

Are there any unique man-made outdoor features to see near Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

Yes, the most iconic man-made outdoor features are the two pirate ships located in the lagoon at the front of the hotel. While the famous pirate shows have concluded, these ships remain a prominent visual landmark and a nod to the resort's original theme. The entire Las Vegas Strip itself is a spectacle of unique architecture and outdoor displays, easily accessible from Treasure Island.

What dining options are available at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino?

Treasure Island offers a diverse selection of dining options. You can find casual eateries like Señor Frog's and Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ, known for its Texas honky-tonk atmosphere and mechanical bull.
