Tongeren is a city in the Belgian province of Limburg and the Dutch-speaking region of Flanders. It is the oldest city in Belgium (founded around 15 BC), originating from the Roman settlement of Aduatuca Tungrorum, which was located on the Roman road from Cologne to Bavay, which is now called Via Belgica and continued to Bononia (Wikipedia).
