Congost River

Pleasant trail without significant difficulty that runs parallel to the Congost River.

The surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling, etc. You can also observe the flora and fauna, detailed on various information panels. During your tour of the river park, you'll find bridges, footbridges, the interesting and rich municipal garden area, picnic areas, and spaces with children's games and equipment for physical exercise and stretching. All this makes for healthy family activities alongside a river of great ecological value.
It originates from the waters of the western cliffs of the Plana de Vic, at the foot of Sant Cugat de Gavadons, in soils formed by sandstone and marl. The river lies in the gap that separates the Montseny massif from Cingles de Bertí and separates these two mountain ranges from north to south.
