This charming nature reserve is home to the Kleine Nete river. A few years ago, an old meander of the river was restored here. Thanks to the construction of this bend – completed in 2021 – the Kleine Nete once again became a more natural watercourse. This intervention is beneficial for both nature and a buffer against flooding. In the distance, you can admire some magnificent Galloway cattle. Bring your binoculars, because from the lookout point you can spot many birds.
