The 'Golden Tower' is one of the taller towers in the city. It dates back to the beginning of the 13th century. It was once one of the defensive towers of the Alcazar. The name comes from the gilded azulejos (wall tiles) that used to be placed inside. Count how many corners the tower has. There are twelve. You can climb the tower for a beautiful view.
