From the viewing cross on a northwest terrace of the Kreuzberg you have a beautiful view of Kronach and the Veste Rosenberg.
It is called the East-West Peace Cross
There is also a bench there to rest on.
The cross is not at the highest point of the Kreuzberg.
Several beautiful paths lead to this viewing point.
The best way to start is at the large parking lot of the Kronach swimming pool and then you can go right or left to the cross.
You can also incorporate the cross into a small circular route that starts from the Kronach swimming pool parking lot.
    see komoot.com/de-de/tour/1924906969
Then there is a narrow but beautiful path 10 m above the cross in the forest, which takes you south to the airfield and the Kreuzberg chapel.
The direct descent from the cross down to the field above the swimming pool is possible, but very steep and is slowly becoming overgrown.
This used to be a wild toboggan run.
This route is only advisable for experienced hikers
