    The Peace Bridge is a road bridge in Frankfurt / M. It connects the Baseler Platz in Gutleutviertel with the Stresemannallee in Sachsenhausen. It was built from 1950 to 1951 instead of 1844 to 1848 resulting Wilhelmsbrücke (until 1950). At the southern bridgehead stands the bronze sculpture "Der Hafenarbeiter", created in 1890. It recalls that immediately downstream of the bridge on the northern side is the former west port of Frankfurt, which was in operation from 1885 to 1999. The Bundesstraße 44, the tram lines and the Ebbelwei Express run via the Friedensbrücke.Type: steel composite bridge
