The high-rise has the shape of a cylinder with a diameter of 37.5 meters. Since the floors are arranged as squares, 18 conservatories were created between the inside and outside facade. Each of the 30 above-ground floors has a rental area of around 820 square meters.
The architectural feature is the diamond-like facade structure. 3,556 triangular glass panes form the outer skin. The structure of the glazing, which is reminiscent of a Frankfurt cider glass, popularly gave the high-rise the name Geripptes.
Part of the triangular segments of the glass facade can be opened automatically at the lower corner for ventilation purposes. The floors are heated with convectors embedded under the windows, while cooling takes place via a chilled ceiling.Source: Wikipedia
