The Goldkronach marketplace fountain dates from around 1800. It is characterized by an obelisk with the number 650 on it. At Easter, the fountain is lavishly decorated and viewed by many visitors.

Since 2022 there has been a Kneipp facility at Goldkronacher Marktplatz. The reason for the construction was a special funding program that had been launched for the 200th anniversary of Pastor Kneipp. The town of Goldkronach took part, so a Kneipp facility was built in the middle of the market square, built into the Kronach.
