The Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo, the church dedicated to St. Andrew, is a church from the 14th century.
Blessed Andrea Caccioli (1194 - 1254), who, according to tradition, received his habit directly from the hands of Francis, was the first head of the monastery of the Community of Friars Minor.
The façade still shows the appearance of the Romanesque portal, while the rose window was destroyed to make way for a 16th century window. The floor plan of the church is a Latin cross and has a single nave.

The church façade dates from the 13th century and is offset by a somewhat dark but very picturesque interior. As you enter the chapel of the Baptistery, the late 15th century frescoes on the left are beautiful. The highlight of the church is the painting by Pinturicchio depicting the Madonna and Child among the Saints. In fact, the canvas was mostly worked by Eusebio da San Giorgio, but the main heads are the work of Pinturicchio by commission. Worthy of note is the wooden crucifix on the altar, from the Giotto school.
