The famous stone 16 (a landmark of 1734) marks the crossing between hiking trails from Oberhof to Zella-Mehlis and from Rondell Oberhof to Grenzadler Oberhof. There is also a refuge for a rest. Located directly on the Rennsteig.

The Dietzel-Geba-Stein, also Hessenstein or simply Stein 16, is a Dreiherrenstein at the Rennsteig. Stone 16 from 1734 was named after its numbering. The initials "SG" for Saxony-Gotha, "H" for Hesse and "S" for Saxony are inscribed on the three pages. It is a cross between hiking trails from Oberhof to Zella-Mehlis and from Rondell (Oberhof) to Grenzadler Oberhof.(Source: Wikipedia)
