The Fundgrube Society hat house is run as a hostel by the CVJM (Christian Association of Young People). start.cvjm-sn.de
A special highlight is the miniature landscape of the Schneeberg-Neustädtler mining landscape (mini mining home), which can be visited from May to October.
There is also a meridian stone on the site, which was erected in 1838 by Freiberg professor Julius Weißbach and mountain mechanic Lingke as a reference point for market surveying work.
