Where there used to be a railway line is now a cycle path. But the past keeps coming back to light in various places.
Süddorf - Maintaining the memory of the Edewechter Kleinbahn is important to the members of the Süddorf local association. There is not much of the former tracks left where trains ran from 1912 to 1991. On the route from Bad Zwischenahn to Edewecht, the tracks have largely been dismantled, and cyclists have been riding along the former route since 1994.
