In Oostduinkerke, the De Doornpanne Visitor Center opens the gates to a beautiful nature reserve of the same name. The permanent exhibition in the visitor center tells you more about water extraction in the dunes of this nature reserve and the different fauna and flora. You can also participate in various guided excursions.

Hiking

The visitor center opened in 1996 and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. It introduces them to the De Doornpanne nature reserve and water extraction area.
You will find a permanent exhibition about water extraction in the dunes and the fauna and flora of the De Doornpanne nature reserve. Two to three temporary exhibitions are also presented annually on various topics.
