Hiking

The "Border Rose" located here is one of 9 pieces that were set up in Kehl and one in Strasbourg. The background is the murder of nine French resistance fighters from the Réseau Alliance on November 23, 1944 by the Gestapo. The murders shortly before the end of the war were also called the "Black Forest Blood Week".
In the meantime, there is a European project that has or wants to set up such border roses in various countries that lie on the border with Germany.
