A bit off the main path you will find here in the middle of the forest the almost completely overgrown remains of the Habichtsburg. In a small clearing next to the old walls stands a group of seats on which you can take a break with a beautiful view.

There were never any official excavations at Habichtsburg, but finds of pottery shards, animal bones and wall coverings suggest that the castle was built in the 12th/13th century. Century was built.
