Kibune village is home to the Kifune Shrine, and restaurants that serve food and drinks on platforms over the river.
It is located about 30-40 minutes north of Kyoto.
Sitting on the platforms over the river and under a tree canopy not only looks cool, but also is very cooling in the summer.
