Tried a different route to Nanxiang via Gulang Road and Zhennan Road. Actually good, but a couple too many traffic lights along Gulang Road that really meant red when showing red ...
But overall an enjoyable ride for an early Thursday morning.

After the morning ride went to Pudong for customer meeting by bike. Temperature was not as comfortable as in Germany last week, but bearable.
On the way back been surprised by a closed ferry pier. Water level in the Huangpu River was so bigh that some ferry piers had to close. I had to cycle two down

Going from Aachen to Cologne had been on the program for a while, but the railway was building (or repairing) and the route to Aachen was interrupted. Now it's open again, and I took the RE in the morning to Aachen Rothe Erde, and from there cycled back.

I thought it was cool in Cologne, but still okay. But after I went up the ramp in Berrenrath and down across the plain to Balkhausen, cool turned into cold. But I kept going in the hope that the early morning sun would warm me up ... or at least my thoughts
