Went to Macau yesterday to see a show. And to Coloane Village to get away from the casinos and see something 'authentic' - a quaint, colorful village. Sun was shining, mood was good, time well spent with friends.

My wife found this on Xiaohongshu (Red Note) and recommended we go check it out. Got on the bus after our stroll through Beishan Village and came here.
The park is a childrens paradise. Basketball court, soccer field, bike parcours, various playgrounds. Really amazing - and crowded with families.

A visit to the HCMC Museum of Fine Arts. Apart from fine art, mostly you see young people posing for photos and selfies.
After that a beer at busy and noisy bar street, and some dinner.
Wanted to walk along the river, but the park is a huge construction site. So just the Cafe Apartment building.

The Cafe Apartment Building os a tourist highlight, no doubt. 9 floors cramped with cafes, small teataurants and boutique shops. You can climb the stairs, or choose to pay for the elevator.

Yanzi was the most important student of Confucius. They built a Yanzi Institute in the Fengxian District if Shanghai, having a statue, a display of his life and work, an library and other study rooms.
