Hiking
The house was built in the 18th century as a weaver's house. The first resident was Hendrik Spee. The traces of the master builder are still visible on the original wooden pillars.
Later it received the name "Kostershuisje" (Sexton's House), as the sexton and organist of the Protestant church, Willem van der Burg, lived here.
From 1916 to 1967, his daughter Mien lived in the house as sexton.
In 2018, the property was extensively renovated, exposing characteristic elements such as the original clay fireplace and the roof structure.
