Nuenen is a town in the municipality of Nuenen, Gerwen, and Nederwetten in the Dutch province of North Brabant, located in the 's-Hertogenbosch Meierij, between Helmond and Eindhoven. Nuenen is the largest town in the municipality and also the village where the town hall is located. The name Nuenen comes from Nuenhem, which means "new place."

Restoration work was carried out on the old part of the town hall for the municipality of Nuenen. This section includes the wedding hall, rooms of the aldermen, the secretariat, various offices and meeting rooms. An iconic staircase connects these areas. With the restoration, the interior spaces have been tackled in style and the exterior painting has been carried out, and energy improvements have also been made.
