On a rainy and cold February morning and after having walked from Winsum (2 hours away), this rest stop was "god sent". Self service coffee, tea, biscuits and a little tin to make a payment, all based on trust. I love this about the Dutch. The stop itself is worth making, just to admire the incongruity of a wheelhouse in the middle of vast agricultural plains!
