What are these articles on the websites of the tourist office or the district supposed to say?

I bet the user hasn't driven a single meter here.

The Büsenbachtal is nothing special, in contrast to other areas in the heath.

If you want to see the heath in bloom, you should look at Wilsede; Röders Heide; Behringer Heide; Totengrund and many other heath areas.

Cycling on the paths is not for inexperienced cyclists because of the many roots and other obstacles. It is better to go on foot. You shouldn't cycle to the right of the Pferdekopf... It is forbidden.

      The Büsenbach Valley

From the car park you start into the flat valley along the Büsenbach. After a few metres the valley opens up to a wide heathland of incredible beauty.

The landscape of the Büsenbach Valley is the result of the Ice Age. Like giant conveyor belts, the glaciers of Scandinavia deposited sand and mountains of rubble. For thousands of years, water and wind then shaped the relief of our landscape. Where water flowed away in large quantities, it left deep cuts in the terrain. This is how the Büsenbach Valley was created.

The small Büsenbach flows through the valley, and to the right and left rise wonderful hills covered with heather. Dark green, gnarled junipers provide a fantastic contrast to the purple flowering heathlands. Silver-white birches rustle in the wind and you can hear the stream babbling.

Sandy paths lead through the area - a great area for hikers. And you might even see the shepherd with his flock of sheep.
