It's worth it, the fairy ponds are not only a fairytale gem, but also a valuable biotope for many rare animal species such as the grass snake. And when the moonlight reflects through the old heather pines on the mirror-smooth surface of the water, it looks like fairies are flying over the ponds, especially from the top of the Horse's Head.
