Alongside the Brunsberg area, the Büsenbachtal is the second closed heath area in Buchholz. To be honest, the Büsenbachtal does not even belong to Buchholz, but to the municipality of Handeloh. However, it is very close to Buchholz and therefore you can quickly get to the heart of it even by bike.
The creek with the small bridge is particularly popular, which children always look for first and find it difficult to break free.
Speaking of children: horse-drawn carriage rides to Büsenbachtal on children's birthday parties are an alternative to fast-food restaurants. Kite flying at the horse's head is also fun.
The Horse's Head is a small mound at the west end of the Horse's Head that provides a magnificent overview.
After the excursion, you can stop for a bite to eat: in the sheepfold, the restaurant and café right by the Büsenbachtal.

The small stream here is full of tadpoles, frogs, toads and there are dragonflies buzzing in the appropriate season. A small natural paradise!
