While there are known older Turkish burials, the so-called "oldest graves of captured Turks" record is not entirely unfounded. Hammet and Hasan, as they were called here, were captured during the Ottoman attack on Vienna and brought here by soldiers of the Kingdom of Hanover. From then on, they were forced to serve the nobility and, despite their captivity, were buried according to Islamic burial culture with beautifully decorated gravestones. One of the gravestones is uninscribed. It is assumed that no inscription was ever engraved here.
