A few meters behind the picnic table and the information board of the geo-educational trail, the entrance to the tunnel is located in a (slightly overgrown) cut in the terrain. The easily accessible tunnel leads approximately 15 meters into the mountain before a water-filled shaft descends into the depths.
The name comes from the district of Hubschlag, also referred to as Hoppschlag on old maps.
