The Goethe Staircase leads over 105 steps up to the dragon's head and is used both to overcome the steep slope and as a decoration. It was planned and laid out based on the Schillertreppe, which is located a little further west on the slope.Source: reiseland-brandenburg.de/poi/barnimer-land/geschichte-baudenkmaeler-und-staetten/goethetreppe

The stairs lead up to the Drachenkopf viewpoint, with a wide view over the city.

There are "only" 104 steps. I walk up there five times a week and have been doing so for almost two years. It is fascinating to experience the change of seasons.
