Since spring 2006, Falckensteiner Strand in Kiel Friedrichsort has had another attraction: the Deichperle, a café, bistro, and event location. Here, you can now enjoy the beach – but with a difference, of course.

With its unique location directly opposite the lighthouse, its immediate proximity
to the entrance to the Kiel Canal, and its direct beachfront location, the Deichperle
offers you a place to enjoy yourself.

Here you can enjoy a fine beer and a delicious portion of fries, whatever the weather.

A genuine fish sandwich or a legendary Deichburger is also served at reasonable prices. Wine and coffee drinkers are also well catered for. Whether after a long day at the beach, a long walk, a bike ride, or a hard day at work, the Deichperle is a lovely destination.
