Even if it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the time being, it is definitely a real asset to this beautiful half-timbered town. Homemade cakes, coffee, refreshing drinks and a few small meals are available here. Cyclists coming from Gemünda will be grateful. The next opportunity to stop off is in Bad Colberg and Bad Rodach. Heldburg does have the Schützenhaus, but is on the cycle path towards Lindenau. So you should probably decide in Gemünda. Both routes have their own scenic appeal.
The cycle path via Ummerstadt continues to Bad Colberg and Billmuthausen, and once there also continues to Heldburg.
Next year it may also be open on Fridays.
