The Steinerne Frau am Walberla is a striking rock formation on the western slope of the Walberla. The weathering there acts on the hard dolomite preferably at vertical joints. Over time, the cracks increased so much that individual rock towers emerged. The rock tower is not yet completely separated from the wall in the lower part. The rock is designated by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) as a geoscientifically important geotope.Geotop number: 474R036;
