The Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw, located in the Ostrogski Castle, documents the composer's life and work. It was established in 1955 and is part of the Fryderyk Chopin National Institute. Its collection numbers around 7,000 objects, including the world's largest collection of Chopin's manuscripts. In 2010, a modern multimedia exhibition was opened. The museum organizes piano concerts and has a branch in Żelazowa Wola. The exhibitions are divided thematically into the Warsaw period, Paris period and the composer's work, presenting his instruments, letters and memorabilia.
