In the middle of the Märkische Schweiz nature park, the Stobber winds its way, a small, living river that rises in the Rote Luch. From Buckow it flows through a picturesque valley that forms the nature reserve Stobbertal together with its side valleys and the adjacent forest and meadow landscape. The 884-hectare area is characterized by a mosaic of diverse landscapes. Along the Stobbers alternate riparian forest residues, wet meadows, perennials and various deciduous forest communities (source and further information: naturerbe.nabu.de/naturparadiese/brandenburg/stobbertal/index.html).The valley is really beautiful. A worthwhile destination for an easy hike.

In the valley of Stöbber you can always experience something. Even in October there were dragonflies. At the bottom of the stream mussels were still visible and the results of the work of the beaver could not be overlooked. The mosquitoes were still there!
