There has been a mill at Rudkøbing Fortress Wall since the 16th century.

There has been a mill at Rudkøbing Fortress Wall since the 16th century. The current mill from 1820 is a Dutch gallery mill and the third largest in Denmark. Rudkøbing Town Mill was restored in 1996-2006. The cap, wings, mechanism and foundation have been repaired and a new clapboard covering has been added. The mill is managed by Rudkøbing Bymøllelaug, who are working to make it a town landmark again. The mill can be visited in summer and on special occasions.
