From Gieboldehausen I follow the hint to the Hainbuchenweg. After a rest hut, keep right in the forest for approx. 100 m to the "beautiful view" on Heimkenberg. From here you have a magnificent view over the Lower Eichsfeld.
This little detour to the "beautiful view" is definitely worth it.
