Tips

  • Martl

The impressive cave was allegedly closed in the meantime for reasons of bat protection (?). Now it can apparently be freely entered again. It is the largest freely accessible cave in the region. An inspection of the nearby Marthahöhle is only possible when it is dry and much more difficult.

  • The playground of our childhood. The cave is still open "walkable" even today.

  • The karst area has some treasures. Unfortunately the horse pond is still dry at the moment. But if you choose the small Rudnwanderweg from the car park on Düna, it will be guided impressively through the karst landscape. In principle, entering is not allowed, but it is an impressive piece of nature. I have often ventured into it as far as the first pond - mostly on Ascension Day

  • Beautiful cave that I visited very often in my youth and could explore it thoroughly.
