Station Tzummarum (Tzum) was a station on the Stiens - Harlingen railway line. Tzummarum station was open from December 2, 1902 to December 1, 1940. The restoration has completely restored the exterior to its original state. Inside, the station building has been made suitable for business purposes, with attention to the historical elements. For example, the counter has been preserved. During the restoration, the platform was also repaired and another piece of rail was laid. The outbuildings have also been restored. One of these outbuildings is the old retirade building (toilet). A permanent exhibition of the antiquarian association Barradeel has been set up in the retirade, including a scale model of the station and a video presentation with an overview of the history of the station.
