In an outdoor area in a disused gravel pit was reconstructed in 2001 from original parts elements of the former GDR security systems. Here you can see a model bordered border signal fence, observation tower and border fence I from the 1980s. Very impressively practically presented story.

Cycling

We first visited the exhibition in Grenzhus and then continue to the outdoor area. I can only recommend both. This preserves the memory of the painful division of Germany. Particularly impressive is the sometimes perfidious "border security", such. a fence with barbed wire above and below across the Lankower lake.
