The “Flinthörn” nature trail leads through the bird sanctuary - please stay on the path. Many information boards make the route very interesting and educational for school children. There is a free telescope (2023) at the refuge. You have a very nice view. From there the path continues through the dunes (please do not enter) to the beach. You can walk along the water edge back to the next dune crossing and from there you can go over the dike back to the “Flinthörn” hiking trail (approx. 2.5km total length).
