North of the Flintho dunes follow the Süderdünen. Southeast of it is a vast island forest, which originated there after the Second World War on the former military airfield. The forest is crossed by various hiking, biking and riding trails and a fitness trail. At the edge of the forest there is an allotment garden colony.(Https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langeoog)
