Here a sign points to the lost Wittichsthal/Pomezna. Wittichsthal was a settlement of Paulusbrunn. The cornerstone for the first property was laid in 1792.
In 1930 there were 27 estates with 144 residents of German nationality and two Czechoslovaks. When the American army occupied the village, some houses were burned down. The village was gradually demolished in the late 1940s and 1950s. Only rough terrain remains of the estate.

The former Wittichsthal settlement, part of the Paulusbrunn community, was located here. The meeting place “Middle of Europe at the former ‘Plärrer Wittichsthal’” with the historic Böttger column is now located on the former village square.
