Small stream, big interest: Curious people, especially from the Czech Republic, keep coming to find out about the source of the Mies. That is why the source of the Mies has been marked. The river rises as Blätterbach near the former deserted village of Aschersreuth and becomes the Reichenbach near the Untere Kellermühle, which in turn flows into the Mies. Ultimately, the Mies joins the Moldau. The stream was cut free by OWV members, maintained, laid out with stones and made informative with two display boards.
