The life-size bronze sculpture of the bison, created in 1961 by the sculptor Dietrich Rohde, is not far from the "bear shop window" at the entrance to the administrative buildings of Tierpark Berlin on Treskowallee. When we saw the bison as children coming from Karlshorst on the tram, we knew that we would be right at the zoo 🙂.
