Since 2010, a former industrial wasteland has been used as an urban farm. Meanwhile over 80 sheep live on the idyllic pastures. With the friendly orchards and the small woodland you quickly forget that you are still in the middle of Berlin.

Until 2007, today's landscape park was a wild mixture of fallow land, commercial areas, housing and green spaces. Since the Agrarbörse Deutschland Ost e.V., together with the district office in Lichtenberg, initiated a whole series of projects to develop the areas in a natural way into a model project for urban agriculture, a real biotope has emerged.
